Managing Your Profile
Your profile stores the personal information associated with your A vs B account — your name and job function. Keeping this information up to date helps your teammates identify you in the member list and understand your role in the team.
Accessing your profile
Click your avatar or initials in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar, then click Account Settings. You will land on the Profile tab by default.
Profile fields
Name
Your full name as it appears to your teammates in the member list, in experiment audit logs, and in email notifications. You can update this at any time by editing the name field and clicking Save.
Email address
Your email address is displayed on the Profile tab but is read-only — it cannot be changed from this screen. Your email is the unique identifier for your A vs B account and is used for login, password resets, and notifications. If you need to change the email address associated with your account, contact A vs B support.
Job function
A selector that lets you describe your role in relation to A/B testing. The available options typically include:
- Product Manager
- Engineer / Developer
- Designer / UX
- Data Analyst
- Marketing
- Growth
- Other
This field is used by A vs B to tailor onboarding suggestions and documentation recommendations. It does not affect your permissions or access level in any way — that is determined by your role assignment, not your job function.
Last login
At the bottom of the Profile tab, A vs B displays the timestamp of your most recent successful login, including the date, time, and approximate location. Reviewing this timestamp regularly is a good security habit — if you see a login you do not recognize, change your password immediately and consider enabling two-factor authentication.
Saving changes
Click Save after making any changes to your name or job function. Your updated name will appear immediately across the platform for all teammates.
