Creating Your Organization

An organization is the top-level container in A vs B. It holds all your projects, experiments, team members, and billing information. You only create it once, and everything else lives inside it.

What is an organization?

Think of an organization as your company or team account. If you work for Acme Corp, your organization might be called “Acme Corp”. All the websites you test will be separate projects inside that organization. Your colleagues can be invited to the organization and assigned roles.

Step-by-step

After you log in for the first time, A vs B detects that you do not have an organization yet and automatically takes you to the onboarding flow. You cannot skip this — it is required before you can do anything else.

1

Enter your organization name

The first field asks for your organization name. This is typically your company name, team name, or project name. It will appear in the top navigation and on invoices. You can change it later in Organization Settings.
2

Select your industry

Choose the industry that best describes your business from the dropdown. This helps A vs B tailor suggestions and default metrics. Examples include E-commerce, SaaS, Media, Finance, and Healthcare. If nothing fits, choose Other.
3

Continue to the next step

Click Continue →. A vs B saves your organization and takes you to create your first project.
Tip
You can have multiple organizations if you manage testing for more than one company. Switch between them using the organization switcher in the top navigation bar.

What happens next

With your organization created, A vs B will guide you straight into creating your first project. Continue to Creating Your First Project.
